This Is Us

I’m a southern girl from the outskirts of Atlanta. The proud owner of a Speech Communications degree with an emphasis in Public Relations from Valdosta State University. GO BLAZERS!!

I’m Southern, but not the typical Southern. I couldn't care less about football. I would rather be laying in my ENO, hiking, camping, sitting beside a peaceful river watching the geese waddle about next to me; anything, but sitting in front of a television screen feeling unproductive, unless I’m getting my feet rubbed. If it makes you feel any better, I love my sweet tea!

I love baking! Especially homemade cinnamon rolls and cookies. My absolute favorites… mmm, yummy! I enjoy reading. I love hot showers; I will take all of the hot water when I can. I love singing in the shower, even though I cannot sing to save my life. Will I let that stop me? I think not! And I can vent all day long about lazy people and horrid drivers.

I have a truly unique sneeze, which makes everyone look at me and think, “Holy smokes, did that sound just come out of her? I didn’t know that anyone could make that sound.”

I love making everyone laugh and smile. It brings me joy!

Something else that brings me joy is romance novels. You got it, I’m a sucker for romance! However, I’m not a fan of trashy romance novels with Fabio on the front cover. Nor do I like completely cliche and cheesy romance that only happens in movies. No, I’m the type of girl that loves a classic romance story. Jane Austen is my favorite example.

Speaking of favorite books… and movies. I love the Harry Potter and Wheel of Time series. I always will. I grew up with them. How could I not love them? Is it bad that I can quote the series? Don’t judge me!

I love my beer and booze, bonfires, campfires, books, whitewater rafting, roller coasters, and much more!
